Alpine Extended Skills Post 2012

A 12 month position has become available at Bright Medical Centre for 2012 for GPT3/4 registrars. This position includes the alpine sports medicine extended skills term involving work at Mt Hotham. If you are interested and available could you please contact the practice manager at Bright Medical Centre directly immediately. The position will be advertised nationally next week.

Bogong GP performs alpine rescue

Dr Dominic Blanks from the Falls Creek Medical Centre yesterday treated an international worker who was exceptionally cold.
 

Accolades for Bogong - successful accreditation

In a great result for the region, Bogong has achieved accreditation as a training provider through until 2014. As the accrediting body, GPET, commended Bogong for ensuring registrar wellbeing, its strategic approach to medical education and proactive approach to national health reform and its regional leadership.
 

Bogong a finalist in business awards

Bogong is one of four finalists in the Professional Services category of the 2011 Chamber Business Awards. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on 7 October.
 

Regional GP training success continues

Border, North East and Goulburn Murray communities will soon gain new medical expertise as 25 doctors begin specialised GP training in the region this week.
