Albury Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service is a non profit organisation that was developed and set up to cater for the primary health care needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families.
The Health Service was incorporated in September 2003 after nearly 32 years of lobbying by various Aboriginal community members and groups. The Health Service commenced full operational service on the 27th June 2005, offering bulk billing GP medical service to local Aboriginal people and their families.
